Before the wedding, I take time to understand your dynamic: how you interact, what feels natural, what matters most. That might mean incorporating meaningful traditions, your dog, a location that holds history for you, or simply leaning into your everyday energy as a couple.

Even during portraits, I adjust based on who you are. Playful couples move more. Sentimental couples slow down. I don’t force moments, I build around what’s already there.

The goal is always images that feel lived-in and honest.

How do you ensure our day flows smoothly without feeling rushed?

It starts with realistic timing.

When building your photography timeline, I intentionally build in small buffer windows. Weddings almost always run a little behind, and having that breathing room keeps things calm instead of chaotic.

I factor in lighting, travel time, venue layout, family photo efficiency, and natural transitions between events. On the day itself, I gently guide the flow while staying flexible.

What happens if something unexpected comes up?

Weddings are beautifully unpredictable, and that’s okay.

If weather changes, timelines shift, or something small pops up, I adapt quickly and calmly. I always carry backup equipment and a small emergency kit with things like wipes, Tide sticks, bandaids, safety pins, and other little lifesavers.

After photographing 50+ weddings, I’ve learned that the unexpected moments often become the most meaningful ones.
