Asbury Park is a coastal town with so much history, but it’s also constantly evolving, with new spots popping up all the time. And that mix is exactly what makes it such an amazing place for an Asbury Park wedding.

You’ve got traditional hotel ballrooms if that’s your vibe. And, on the flip side, you’ve also got cocktail-style receptions, funky restaurant takeovers and venues that feel more like a party than a “wedding” in the structured sense.

Asbury has some genuinely gorgeous traditional options if a more polished, hotel-ballroom feel is calling your name.

The Berkeley is stunning oceanfront elegance, full stop. Think checkered floors, floor-to-ceiling windows and a rooftop for your ceremony.

Asbury Ocean Club Hotel brings the seaside sophistication with a pool, garden and terrace for photos. Plus, Asbury Ocean Club Hotel has guest rooms, so your people can stay right there and keep the party going. Talk about convenience for your guests!

The St. Laurent is chic, boutique and a total win for you, if fine dining and an elevated experience are at the top of your list.

The Asbury Hotel is a personal favorite for getting ready, but it also works as an all-in-one venue with a rooftop terrace with ocean views, an event tent and enough space to make it feel like your own little wedding weekend.

Not-So-Traditional Asbury Park Venues

This is where Asbury Park venues show off uniqueness and exactly where my heart is at.

Asbury Lanes is a bowling alley, diner and concert venue all rolled into one! It makes for the most fun, one-of-a-kind reception if you and your partner are all about that music scene energy.

House of Independents is a live music venue in the heart of downtown. It turns into an incredible blank-canvas reception space. If you want your wedding to feel like the best concert you’ve ever been to, this is one of the best Asbury Park venues for you.

Pizza Porta deserves its own paragraph because, omg, disco balls hanging over your dance floor?! Need I say more? It’s playful, it’s fun and it turns into a full-on party after dinner.

Cross & Orange is an upscale restaurant downtown that’s perfect if you’re leaning more intimate dinner-party vibes over a big ballroom moment.

Tim McLoone’s Supper Club sits right on the boardwalk with wall-to-wall windows and an ocean view, plus a wall of stars for one of the most unique ceremony backdrops around.

TillingHouse is another great Asbury Park venue with a bridal suite, family suite, in-house culinary and even a game room for guests to unwind.

Where to Send Guests After Your Asbury Park Wedding

This is the part couples often forget to plan for and it’s totally worth thinking through! Asbury Park has such a good late-night scene and your guests are going to want somewhere to keep celebrating once the reception wraps.

The Black Swan Public House is an eclectic gastropub with a vault room and a tea room, so it’s got serious character for a low-key after-party. They do also offer full wedding and reception pricing, too!

Low Dive and Palmetto Southern Kitchen + Bar are both easy, casual spots to point people toward for one more drink before the night ends.

AP Rooftop is exactly what it sounds like, and a rooftop nightcap with an Asbury view is pretty hard to beat.

Is There a Perfect Asbury Park Wedding Venue?

Asbury is one of the few places where you genuinely get to choose your own adventure. Beachy and breezy, downtown and eclectic, elegant and polished… it’s all here and it’s all equally a good choice.

At the end of the day, it’s your wedding. You get to make it exactly what you want. So whether that’s saying “I do” on a rooftop overlooking the ocean or dancing under disco balls at a pizza shop, Asbury Park has a spot for you.
